If you have friends in Scotland and indeed around the City of Edinburgh and you want something very unusual, have a look carefully at this event organised by The Leith Trust for Friday and Saturday next week…

You can see and admire the Quintinshill Memorial Carriage – a 130-year old vehicle that will be displayed in the Tower Plaza, adjacent to The Shore, in Leith. Then it will provide a poignant backdrop for a Service of Remembrance at 14.00 hours on Saturday 10 November, the eve of the ending of the Great War of 1914/1918, when the Leith families who lost loved ones, with the Lord Provost, local dignitaries and a Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland will join together to pay their respects to those who died for their Country in that devastating conflict..

Please send this to your friends there to remind them…. Thank you.
