All hail to the Steve Cramp team on the winning of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service for the amazing enterprise advanced at Mountsorrel And Rothley Community Heritage Centre. That it has attracted such interest from HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH Prince Richard Duke of Gloucester and now to be followed by this Award is an amazing and incredibly well-deserved recognition. It is a flagship example of heritage development at its best. And the public love it too…..

We congratulate you all on such an achievement.

That you also look after and exhibit our prize 6-wheel Gem No.946 of an 1888-built fully-furnished and restored railway carriage, as a part of the Rail Museum, is a great privilege for our team too – and we are very proud and pleased to be associated with that success. Thank you indeed for looking after our grand Old Lady – by far the oldest of its type on our part of the Great Central Railway.

May you go on from success to success. We will be with you as long as we can help…..!
